There’s something rather beautiful about the colour white. It’s crisp, it’s clean, it’s simple. Yet, it has it’s own rather brave statement. I’ve never been one for wearing much colour. My wardrobe tends to be a mixture of black, grey, white and navy. People often say white is not a colour. However we tend to forget that White is in fact all the colours combined.
Dressing head to toe in White is daring none-the-less. Not everyone can pull it off, but when it works it really works. COS and &otherstories prove to be the best on the highstreet for this top-to-toe white chic look. My top tip when wearing white….keep it simple. The colour does the talking. Accessorise to the minimum, and play with different textures of white: team white knitwear with cotton trousers, or a crisp white shirt with white denim jeans. Sheer white layering mixed with heavier bases also works a treat. To help finish off a white look, team in with a minimal amount of black or silver. Whether it’s your nail polish, a pair of black sandals or a silver belt, this will help tie the entire look together.
